[Valentines Day Dilemma]

Mediocre

It's ok, but not much else.

The artwork was just too simple. Granted, some people can get away with simple graphics, but their work is usually accompanied by very funny dialogue, which this is also lacking in.

It's cool you wanted to make a flash for your girlfriend or whoever as that's what Locks seem to do for every special occasion, but unless it's something "new and exciting," you don't need to submit it.

Not bad for a quick piece, but leaves much to be desired, especially where the story is concerned

It's good. The only thing I wish you did would be if you had synched the sound a little better for when it loops. Other than that, not bad.

Excellent submission. I really like the Robot Chicken style.

However, the only thing which got you a 4 instead of a 5 was spelling. Making typos on forums or a review is one thing, but as the artist you're able to review every bit of text and edit it for spelling as long as necessary before submission. Mostly little things like "your" instead of "you're", but it bugs me nonetheless.

Its ok

While I understand that you want people to take into consideration that it isn't finished and there is another part which will make more sense, you also have to understand that we can only vote/review based on *this* submission, and will do so accordingly.

You really should have waited until you finished the other part, and submitted them as one. If its not finished, why submit it in the first place?

As for the movie, there wasn't really anything particularly fantastic about it. Movement was ok, and I got a mild chuckle, but that was about it. Also, I don't know if it was intentional, but there were about 3 typos that I caught in your text. Typos should not exist in short movies like this unless there is a LOT of text.

[The 5 Shades of Red]

Not Bad

Cute Valentines Day colab. Good graphics and entertainment for the most part. I would just suggest that Valtrix work a bit on his/her compositioning, especially with the subtitles and making them more consistant and readable. Also, the end of Dralnur's anim automatically replays the clip instead of letting you choose menu/replay. Might wanna fix that.

I don't read VG cats, so I'm not exactly biased. There isn't anything wrong with a fan wanting to make a derivative work. If no one could make derivative works, we wouldn't have Newgrounds. That said, it was a decent anim... Not great, but not bad either. One thing I noticed was that Sephiroth's theme at the end doesn't stop playing if you hit 'Replay'. Might wanna fix that.

Very good compositioning, 'specially with synching the video to the song. Quite funny overall, cute movie. Great V-Day submission!

Obviously one of the greats

This is just such an amazing flash, mostly due to the combination of an excellent song with very creative artistic interpretation. Few compositions have both great sound and great graphics, and this is one of those few. Bravo.
